Angels frist easter 2012
So this Easter was Angels frist Easter and the family was all there but two cousins. Angel did well in a two hour mass at church, she loves to see new things and take it all in, plus loves it when people make over how cute she is, and loves the singing. Her aunt Theresa and uncle Kevin and cousin brody came back home from Nashville and they finally meet for the frist time. Ah it was a great sight seeing everyone together and Angel meeting her aunt, uncle and cousin for the frist time. She was so tried by the end of the day she went to bed pretty early since she only took two 20 mins naps. Also on Easter Angel got to have baby food in with her baby ceral for the frist time so were trying some new foods at the same time. Not that Angel really understand the whole Easter hoilday but she enjoyed seeing the family and all the gifts she got. All in all it was a great Easter and plenty more to come.

Angel's Eyes
Angel 6/11/11 born at 24weeks 1 lb 1/4 oz
Hello my name is Lauren, and I am a second cousin to Angel, I am also apart of her foster family. Angels Father is my cousin. Angel was born at 24 weeks 1 lb 1/4 oz and was a still born but with the situation her parents gave her cpr and called 911. At that point Angel was transported to Johns Hopkins Hospital and she satyed in the NCUI unit for five months. Angel had a tiny eye problem at grade zero but it never did turn into anything. In the hospital Angel was always on feeding tubes and when the nurses and doctors would try to feed her with bottels she would get an infection this happened twice, finally we got to feed her with bottels around 3 to 4 months old. Angel had to have a minor surgery the weekend that we were supposed to bring her home she recovered very well from it. She spent her frist hurricane and earthquake in the hopsital and her frist 4th of july and labor day weekend plus her first halloween in the hospital. I remember the first time we got to touch her, her tiny hand only fit my tumb nail and her foot was the size of my tumb knuckle to the top. I remember the first time we could hold her and dress her up and then feed her. The best day was when we got to bring her home it was great but sad to leave such good people that became your friends and somewhat your family. As of today Angel is 10 months old and a little over 13 lbs no problems with her sight or hearing and is healthy as can be and I am loving each day with her. Shes now laughing and saying ba, da, la signing to herself, sitting on her own and now eating baby cearl. I love each day with her and am so gratful to the lord and all the nurses and doctors that help save Angels life. Everyone in the family cant wait to see her and loves her so much.
